Finita la regular season, la redazione NBA di DailyBasket si è divertita a votare i vincitori dei classici premi stagionali (ogni redattore poteva dare tre indicazioni: 5 punti al 1º, 3 al 2º e 1 al 3º).
Come c’era da aspettarsi, i premi per l’MVP e il Rookie of the Year sono stati assegnati all’unanimità a Stephen Curry e Karl-Anthony Towns. Senza storia anche le sfide per il Sixth Man of the Year e il Most Improved Player, con Jamal Crawford a imporsi sui migliori giocatori usciti dalla panchina e CJ McCollum come giocatore più migliorato rispetto alla passata stagione. Più combattute invece le sfide per il Defensive Player of the Year, andato a Kawhi Leonard, il Coach of the Year, finito di misura a Brad Stevens su Steve Kerr, e per l’Executive of the Year, che vede sul podio ex-aequo RC Buford degli Spurs e Neil Olshey dei Blazers.
