About you. Tell us something about your experience at Texas Tech(like something you really love at college)?

My experience so far at Texas Tech has been great. I love the community and people here; they are all very friendly and supportive. My favorite memory here is when we beat West Virginia at the buzzer to advance in the Big12 Conference Tournament.

You were born in Serbia, stayed in Canada and now you are in the USA. In your opinion which are the differences about basketball in each one?

There are different playing styles in Europe/Canada compared to the United States. It is a much more physical and uptempo game in America while in Europe and Canada, it is a more finesse game that focuses on various skill sets such as being able to shoot, pass, and handle the ball.

Do you have an advice for a guy that would like to come there to study and play basketball like you did?

Some advice I have for people wanting to go to school here and play basketball is that you really get the best of both worlds when coming here. You are able to get yourself a great degree while also playing in one of the best conferences in America.

About the team. You are one of the key starters returning. In which aspect of the game you worked more last months for preparing this new season?

I have been trying to improve all aspects of my game, both offensively and defensively. However, the aspect I have focused on most is having a consistent outside jumper to help me become a more complete offensive player.

Which are your expectations for the team in this new season and what do you (all the team) miss for get to the Ncaa tournament?

Our team goals this year are to make the NCAA tournament. We have our core group back and we also have a great coaching staff that has been there before and can help guide us there.

About coach Tubby Smith, in your opinion, in which aspect of the game he insists more and which is the most important lesson you are receiving from him?

Coach Smith is an unbelievable coach and an even better person. He teaches the fundamentals of basketball well, and what I have learned most from him is to keep the game simple.
